About The Beach House Villa

A magnificent wooden pool deck runs the entire width of the lodge and overlooks the sea. There is ample outdoor furniture for lounging and soaking up the sun while you watch the dolphins play. During the winter months the whales are spotted regularly right in front of the lodge and can be seen from every room in the house.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Beach House Villa is positioned directly on the secluded Salt Rock beach. Four very spacious and luxurious bedrooms, all en-suite and some have their private own TV lounge. All rooms have incredible sea views. Sleeping only eight guests, it offers absolute luxury and privacy overlooking the sea from an expansive pool deck.

Location

The hotel next door on the South side of the lodge offers a casual buffet and fantastic carvery and are famous for their delicious traditional Durban curries and excellent fresh fish and chips. Next door on the North side is The Canelands Boutique Hotel with yet another superb restaurant. There are four excellent restaurants within walking distance from the lodge.

There are two tidal pools for calm leisurely swims which are perfect for small children. The beach directly in front of the lodge offers excellent fishing and has perfect conditions for paddle-skiing, kite boarding, swimming and surfing. It is protected by shark nets and the main beach (200m to the South) has professional life guards on duty.

There are five great restaurants within walking distance of The Beach House Lodge, you may also wish to venture to the town of Ballito for more variety or further along the coast to Umhlanga and the Gateway Theatre of Shopping. There are great places to shop ‘til you drop, from the curios shops to the designer boutique stores of famous brands, you are sure to find what you're looking for from a wide range of goods and services.

Then, whether you're in the mood for Italian, Chinese, French, Portuguese, superb Seafood or a simple cup of coffee with a homemade baked treat on the side, any one of Ballito's wonderful restaurants and cosy coffee shops guarantee fine dining for any appetite as well as a load more choice in Umdloti or Umhlanga.
