About Beacon House
Beacon House is a contemporary luxury self-catering property located on the southern most property on the lower section of the Eastern Head. These striking sandstone headlands flank the deep and sometimes treacherous channel which floods the Knysna lagoon.
It is against the Eastern head at the mouth to the Indian Ocean, that Beacon House has been created, featuring four ultra spacious and luxurious self catering apartments. This location boasts the most idyllic views of the unspoilt Western Head, the vast lagoon towards the Outeniqua Mountains and through The Heads towards the Indian Ocean.
Self Catering Accommodation
Beacon House is truly the most perfectly located property in the area. It is an ideal location from which to base yourself as you explore the famed Garden Route and everything it has to offer. Beacon House derives its name from the white beacon which is located directly in front of Beacon House. This beacon is one of two which mark the transit channel through the entrance for seafarers.
Beacon House also benefits from its wind-free location, situated in the lee and protected from the prevailing South Easterly winds in summer and is also a mere 50 meters from the lagoon's most popular swimming spot. Location
A walkway in front of the development provides residents with access to the various stunning view points at the Heads.
Across the road from Beacon House is one of Knysna's most popular dining spots at the East Head Café. The emphasis here is on simple yet quality gastro fare with delicious breakfasts, lunches and cocktails being served daily. Also within a stone's throw is Cornutis restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner.
Nearby award-winning golf courses such as Pezula and the Jack Nicklaus designed Simola await the seasoned or novice golfer. The popular Knysna Golf Club is a few kilometres away.
The Knysna CBD is situated 6 kilometres away along the scenic George Rex Drive.
