About On the Estuary
Situated in the heart of South Africa's Garden Route; On The Estuary is ideally located on the water's edge, alongside the beautiful Knysna Estuary. The two bordering properties are easily accessible from the N2 and only a stone's throw away from the Knysna Waterfront and town center.

On The Estuary boast a variety of accommodation options to choose from whilst ensuring the ideal balance between luxury and comfort.
All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave and bar fridge. A hairdryer, fan and heater or air conditioner is available in the rooms.

An onsite restaurant creates a relaxed atmosphere where guests can lounge around the pool in summer or enjoy the warmth of one of the many fireplaces in winter. Activities
Knysna is ever so popular with its endless activities and restaurants. On the Estuary is walking distance from The Knysna Waterfront and is in close proximity to the famous indigenous Knysna Forest. The beautiful forest surrounding Knysna offers a wonderful hiking experience that can be combined with a picnic under the tree canopies.
The Knysna Waterfront is a stones throw away from the establishment and the town centre is a mere 15 minute walk away. The majestic Knysna Heads and breath-taking viewpoints are a quick drive away whilst Simola Golf Course & Spa is just down the road from the establishment. Our beautiful town offers many other experiences such as craft gin and beer tasting.
The Garden Route is famous for the large variety of restaurants as well as art and craft markets. Some private vineyards along the coast also makes for a great day trip with excellent wine tasting experiences.
