About Belmonte Guesthouse

Belmonte Guesthouse is situated against the slopes of Paarl Mountain and although in the centre of town, we are on eight hectares of land with our own small vineyard and fynbos. We grow our own organic vegetables and herbs in season.

You will appreciate beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and town from any angle of the guesthouse. Owner and manager, Italian born Antonella, will welcome you to a relaxed and casual setting, creating an atmosphere that will make you feel at ease and see to your needs during your stay (English and Italian spoken). We will advise and suggest places to visit, and things to do around Paarl and vicinity.

Dining

We own a family restaurant, Terra Mare, one of the best in town. Olivier, the chef par-excellence, a Swiss born resident, is a connoisseur, and a stickler for quality. He speaks French, German, Italian and English. We will gladly make bookings and shuttle to the restaurant and back, for your convenience.

Picturesque Paarl is close to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and is definitely a value for money stay over and has much to offer. There is magnificent country side, scenic beauty, some of the most famous vineyards in the world, prestigious wines, a Mediterranean climate and a fertile valley.

Add to this a rich cultural heritage and diversity of historical buildings throughout the town, balanced by top modern architecture and amenities. As a golfer you will be delighted with Boschenmeer and Pearl Valley golf courses.
