Bergsicht Laetitia is a beautifully designed couple's destination with 180-degree views over plum orchards and the Winterhoek mountains basin. Tailormade for romantic getaways, this picture-perfect cabin was built between two mature "Wilde Olienhout" trees that provide dappled shade over the deck with its outdoor braai area, fire pit, sun loungers, and a private wood-fired hot tub.

Self Catering Accommodation

Bergsicht Laetitia is an air-conditioned, open plan Holiday Cottage in Tulbagh, furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a couple's shower with two shower heads, toilet and basin. Please remember to bring pool towels.

The kitchen boasts all the tools you need to enjoy a fuss-free, self-catering stay. This includes a gas stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and double-door fridge. A pair of comfortable leather armchairs overlooks tranquil farm scenery through the living room windows.

Sliding doors lead onto the deck with outdoor braai area, fire pit, sun loungers and a private wood-fired hot tub.

Guests are also provided with a grid, braai utensils, and enough wood to kindle that first convivial fire, as well as access to on-site Wi-Fi and a mini sound system with CD, aux, and Bluetooth capabilities.

A stay at Laetitia Cottage is all about switching off, enjoying the peace and quiet of farm life, and relaxing to your heart's content.

Activities and Attractions

There is an abundance of activities in and around the Witzenberg Valley. The Ceres Golf Club and the Ceres Zip Slide are 30 minutes from Tulbagh. Go horse riding with Vrolikheid Horse Trails which are five minutes from the cottages, book a scenic tractor ride up the Oudekloof Pass or picnic on one of the nearby farms.

Go cyling along the scenic routes in the valley, enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting along the Tulbagh Wine Route, test your legs hiking on Murludi Farm, explore the famous Church Street with its National Monuments, have lunch at any of the restaurants in town and visit the Oude Kerk Volks Museum.
