Bergsicht Outpost Cottages are air-conditioned and each have an indoor fireplace and outdoor wood-fired hot tub, so you can make the most of the gorgeous view over the Winterhoek and Witzenberg Mountain ranges. The cottages are comfortably furnished and elegantly decorated with fireplaces to keep the units warm during the winter. The cottages are furnished with a King-size bed and have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Bathroom amenities, bath towels and swimming towels are provided. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a tea / coffee station. Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper are also provided. Free Wi-fi and a small blue tooth speaker are included. Outside is a deck with a built-in braai and the wood-fired hot tub. Wood is included for your first fire, but extra wood is also for sale on site. Covered parking is available.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?

      That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.
