Set on route to the Cango Caves, in the tranquil and picturesque Schoemanshoek Valley (14 kilometers from Oudtshoorn), Berluda offers an intimate guesthouse experience. Well known for its authentic accommodation in Oudtshoorn, South African farm hospitality and traditional Klein Karoo cuisine

On Site Facilities
The restaurant offers breakfast and dinners (reservations only). The beautiful lush gardens have two swimming pools and Berluda is a paradise for bird-watchers.
Surrounded by apricot orchards (the origin of the name "Berluda"), as well as our famous Karoo veld, where long hikes can be undertaken to enjoy the special indigenous vegetation, Berluda is the place for families with children of all ages.
Experiences
Berluda is part of a large working ostrich farm and offers guests a private tour of the farm with information on trends in the industry. Other daily activities that we offer, are Sunset Drives, exploring the unique Little Karoo and its wonders, as well as Meerkat Tours early morning.
