Betty's Bay Cottage has three bedrooms. There are two downstairs bedrooms. The first room is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has a separate screened-in toilet in the room. The second room is furnished with a double bed, a single bed and a couch bed. There is a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The upstairs bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. The living areas are perfect for quality time with your loved ones. Whether you're just chilling, playing board games, or simply sharing stories, our home is designed to create beautiful memories. While it's basic, you'll find most necessities in the kitchen, ensuring you have the convenience of home-cooked meals during your stay. Please note that there is no dishwasher, so you'll get to enjoy some quality time together while doing the dishes. Starter pack will be provided with toilet paper, black bags, dishcloths, sponge, pepper/salt, oil/balsamic. There is a dining area and comfortable seating in the lounge with large sliding doors leading into the garden. Please note that there is no air-conditioning, fans, TV or Wi-Fi available. The home has an alarm system. Strictly quiet rule from 10pm and no parties allowed.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
