About Bibi's Joy

Bibi's Joy is a self catering cottage located in Suurbraak, just outside of Swellendam. The cottage is peacefully nestled at the foothills of the lush and beautiful Langeberg Mountain. Here you can enjoy nature and the beautiful garden filled with indigenous plant species; great for bird watching.

During your stay you may enjoy the many mountain biking routes, hiking trails and swimming or canoeing in the river. The cottage has a country feel with goats, horses and cattle on the adjacent plots.

Self Catering Accommodation

The cottage sleeps up to six adults and four children at a maximum. There are two bedrooms each with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are stretchers with bedding available for additional adults and children. The third bathroom can be accessed off the lounge area.

There is a large living area with a lounge, dining table with a fireplace and built in braai. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains everything required for your self catering stay. Outside there is a fire pit and there is ample parking on the property.

What a joy , from prior to arriving to booking-in Peter was really great attentive and gave clear instructions and direction . Bibis Joy itself was a delight , I really enjoyed reading the excellent photo book / journal covering the conversion . that made the stay more personal . The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed , I would love to stay here again .

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay with the lovely spacious lounge, rooms and bathrooms with detail decorations that made us feel at home. There is more than required for self catering. Wonderful kitchen! Thank you for accommodating us. We enjoyed the lovely hike and the nature around us. Would have loved to stay longer.
