The eleven hotel rooms at Birkenhead House are individually decorated. The rooms are located in three different houses which make up Birkenhead House. There is a choice of Deluxe Superior Room, Superior Room, Luxury Room and Standard Room. All the rooms boast beautiful decor, artwork and free-standing baths. Join General Manager Shane Brummer for a surfing lesson on the beach below Birkenhead House - we even have our own Birkenhead House surf boards and wet suits.
Our chefs will show you how to safely pick Mussels, these delicious marine treats, from the mussel clad rocks below Birkenhead House before preparing them for you with a little garlic, cream and white wine. Please note that Mussel Picking is seasonal.
