Blackwood Rest is your retreat from fast paced city life, tucked away amongst the forests of the Garden Route. Located in Fisanthoek, it is surrounded by indigenous national parks, with the Diepwalle to the North and the Harkerville forest to the South. Conveniently situated half way between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, and only 2km from the N2, it's the perfect place to base your holiday activities in the ever popular Garden Route.

Self Catering Accommodation

Blackwood Rest is a self catering apartment with three bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom contains a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom makes use of a double bed. The third bedroom features a bunk bed for two children. There is a double sleeper couch in the living area and the apartment can accommodate five adults and two children. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and combined lounge / dining area, and you'll find a large covered deck outside facing a large built in braai all for exclusive use of guests. The lounge is equipped with a large smart-TV with Netflix and the apartment is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

The property grounds are free for exploration, covering one hectare in total and include indigenous gardens and the crowning jewel is the cosy fire pit on the island in the lake.
