About Blanco Country House

Blanco Country House offers accommodation in Tarkastad at the Blanco Guest Farm, nestled underneath Kranskop Mountain where guests can experience the most exquisite sunsets and sunrises and a whole lot of peace. It has its own private lawn looking on to the veggie gardens and an open veranda at the back to experience the view whilst enjoying those sundowners.

Accommodation

Blanco Country House is a guest house in Tarkastad with three separate units. This cottage can be used as a self-catering option or alternatively you can book out the house and still use the Blanco dining room facilities.

The bedrooms surround a central open plan living area. Further to the rooms, the house consists of a centrally placed open plan kitchen and lounge with an enormous old fireplace for those wintery days. There is also a beautiful sunny enclosed veranda with a large dining room area, a bar and an indoor braai facility. As a bonus there is a lovely lounging loft area where games can be played or midnight feasts can be held.

Our facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, a squash court, 9-hole chip and putt golf course, Olympic-size bowling green, sauna, trampoline, snooker table, kiddies' and teenagers' games rooms, horse riding, game park, hiking trails, exquisite fishing dams nearby, bird watching, 4 x 4 trails, mountain bike trails, kids' playgrounds.

Blanco is a wonderland for children to explore: whether it's on bicycles through the countryside, on horseback through our beautiful grounds or on our tractor cart that takes them to an enchanting fairy playground. It's no surprise then that kids love Blanco. Many of them love it so much, in fact, that they have been known to hide under beds while mom and dad are packing the car and getting ready to go home.
