About Blinkberg House

Blinkberg House offers Cederberg accommodation nestled on the slopes of Tuinskloof ridge at Mount Ceder. Mount Ceder which lies within easy reach along the main route through the Cederberg mountain range. It is a great wilderness area with majestic views, amazing spring flowers, rugged mountain bike rides, walks and hikes – perfect for the young and not-so young.

Self Catering Accommodation

Blinkberg House is a self catering holiday home in Cederberg sleeping six guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The loft room is furnished with two three-quarter beds and makes use of a separate bathroom downstairs fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Bedding and towels are provided.

There is a comfortable living area with an indoor fireplace for warmth in winter and an outdoor fireplace to braai/barbeque. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a gas stove and an oven. Our guests can enjoy a lovely meal at the dining table outside on the terrace.

Blinkberg house has a wonderful view of the Klipbokkop mountain range, which can be seen from the large terrace in front.

Dining

The Old Mill House is a licensed restaurant at Mount Ceder, serving breakfasts, light lunches and dinners. The meals are served on a fixed menu basis and cater for most dietary requirements. Evening meals do need to be pre-booked 24 hrs in advance and any special dietary requirements made known when booking.

Activities

With a perennial clear river, wonderful bird life and stunning mountain scenery, Mount Ceder has activities for every taste and level of fitness. Come to the Cederberg and enjoy the mountain scenery and the many activities Mount Ceder has to offer, or just read a book at your house and relax. In addition to the many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and swimming on the property, we are also within driving distance to many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
