Located in the Langezandt Estate, Bliss on the Bay offers luxury self-catering accommodation in Struisbaai for up to 10 guests. The fishing town of Struisbaai prides itself on its beautiful beach that stretches 14km from Struisbaai to Arniston. The beach is a fantastic spot for water sports like kayaking, boating, surfing, body boarding, fishing and kite surfing, as well as shell collecting, beach strolls and whale watching in season.

Self Catering Accommodation

Bliss on the Bay is a modern, elegantly decorated and furnished holiday home in Struisbaai with four bedrooms, that can accommodate eight to ten guests.

Two of the bedrooms are furnished with double beds and two of the rooms have twin beds. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, three of which are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and one is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. Bath towels are provided.

The house, which has luxury Cemcrete concrete finishes, has an open plan living area comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, complete with large fridge, stove and oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable seating in front of a wood burning fireplace and there is a large dining table for everyone to enjoy meals at. In addition, there is a cosy TV area upstairs.

The living area opens to a spacious, covered, furnished patio with braai facilities and a swimming pool.

Secure parking is available for three cars.

Activities and Attractions

Struisbaai is a quaint little fishing village in the Cape Agulhas region of the Western Cape. With one of the longest uninterrupted white beaches in the Southern Hemisphere, this popular little holiday town promises white-washed fishermen's houses, colourful fishing boats, a working harbour, and plenty of coastal charm! Attractions include the Anglican Church (now a National Monument), visiting the De Hoop Nature and Marine Reserve with its seven ecosystems and fishing at De Mond Nature Reserve.

Bird watchers will love exploring the Heuningnes River and estuary which is brimming with rare bird species like the giant tern, black oystercatcher and damara tern while nature lovers will enjoy the reserve's hiking trails which lead through fynbos and undulating dunes. Guests can visit the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse and Museum or enjoy lunch at the Struisbaai Sea Shack.
