Set against the slopes of the Muizenberg Mountain Range, Bluebottle Guesthouse offers panoramic views of the False Bay coast as far as Cape Point and Seal Island. A landscaped walkway up a stepped slope leads you to our door, a quiet retreat far above the hustle and bustle of life.
The guesthouse is situated in close proximity to a wide variety of excellent shops and restaurants, and a two minute drive from the beach.
Please Note
Please note that due to the position of the guesthouse, it can only be reached by stairs. It is therefore unsuitable for wheelchair access, and may be problematic for the disabled or elderly.

Cape Blue has magnificent views and is a gorgeous spacious room, with an extra single bed/day bed perfect for children or an extra guest. This room is wonderful for honeymoon couples and has an en-suite bathroom with both a shower and a free-standing Victorian bath. At night you can watch the lights from two lighthouses, Cape Point and Cape Hangklip, as they tirelessly sweep the ocean from opposite ends of the bay. There is also a tea and coffee tray inside the room.

Once you get up the long flight of stairs, Bluebottle is an excellent, clean and friendly place to stay. Andrew and Taryn are extremely helpful. Taryn called all the good restuarants for us and booked us a table for New Years. The breakfast is heavenly especially sitting on the patio with the great view of Muizenburg. It was our last few days in Cape Town and South Africa and we couldn't have ended it better.
