Surrounded by the tranquil Blyde River and the majestic Drakensberg mountains, this thatched lodge is set in a private reserve, in an area famous for its panoramic scenery, bird-life, fauna and flora. Nestled on the banks of the Blyde River, it offers travellers a unique bush experience whilst soaking up the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Blyde River Wilderness Lodge is situated along the famous Panoramic Route of Mpumalanga / Limpopo Province and is just a 50 minute drive to the Kruger National Park - Orpen Gate.
Accommodation
Stylish rooms lead on to the Blyde River and include ensuite bathrooms and tea trays. Scrumptious breakfasts are included and candlelight dinners by arrangement. Enjoy sundowners at the pool with the sounds of the bush to keep you company.

A lovely location snd we were upgraded from a rondavel to a luxury room. But the menu was very limited and the staff were friendly but offhand making us feel a nuisance at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't try rush back.
