About Boardwalk Lodge Self Catering
Boardwalk Lodge, a guest house and self-catering lodge, is arguably one of the most successful and popular retreats in the tranquil seaside village of Wilderness, on the Garden Route. Set high on the slopes above the village, a short stroll from the beach and lake below, the lodge's innovative design, exclusive features and excellent facilities provide the ultimate Wilderness experience.
You will be warmly welcomed by our attentive lodge staff and will love the luxury rooms, stylish suites and comfortable self-catering timber chalets. All have private decks overlooking the village, lagoon and sea.
Whether staying for a night, a weekend or a week, Boardwalk Lodge with its picture-perfect views and lovely setting amidst natural forest vegetation provides the perfect venue for a glorious holiday.
Accommodation
The Boardwalk Lodge offers four luxury rooms and two luxury suites as Bed & Breakfast; with three duplex chalets and two simplex chalets as Self-Catering options.
Boardwalk Lodge is built on a forested slope and features stairs to reach the various rooms or chalets, but the view is worth the climb!
The main guest house buildings are styled in a luxurious yet modern Afro-contemporary manner and consist of 4 luxury bedrooms, 2 luxury 1-bedroom studio suites, each with private deck. The Breakfast Room is also located in the building. The rim-flow swimming pool is located below the luxury rooms and Breakfast Room in lush, landscaped gardens. Between 20 and 30 steps link the main guest house buildings.
The self-catering timber chalets are located higher up on the slopes and are styled in a comfortable, yet contemporary manner. Spacious open-plan living areas have been cleverly geared towards catering for any season. Between 10, 130 and 150 steps are required to reach the various chalets.

Close to several Championship golf courses on the Garden Route such as Fancourt, George Golf Club, Oubaai Golf Resort, Pezula Golf and Country Club and many more.

The 3 chalets have 3 levels: on the main level there are the 2 en suite bedrooms (each bathroom with a bath and a shower), a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area; 8 Steps down is a mezzanine level with a gas fireplace and on the 3rd lower level is the lounge leading onto a wooden deck with a table and chairs, 2 sun loungers and a gas BBQ that allows for late afternoon sundowners and snacks
