About Bosky Dell Guest Lodge

Idyllically positioned adjoining Boulders Beach, Bosky Dell Guest Lodge offers self catering accommodation in Simons Town. The rambling homestead with coach house and stables dates back to 1850 and has been converted into five charming self contained cottages. The garden gate leads down to the sheltered beach making this the perfect spot for a seaside holiday.

Accommodation

The Main House:
The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the second and third bedrooms each have two single beds. There is one separate shower room and two toilets. The rooms also have a separate kitchen and dining room as well as a large, sunny, comfortable lounge which leads onto a large verandah with spectacular views of the ocean!

The A Cottage:
The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is one shower room and a toilet. The open plan lounge, kitchen, dining room is small but cosy and opens onto a small outdoor deck. The separate indoor sun room has two arm chairs and wonderful sea views.

The B Cottage:
The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is one shower room with a toilet. There is a large, sunny open plan kitchen and dining room as well as a living area with large windows. The private garden / patio area has a built in braai. This cottage is annexed to the Main House.

The Coach House:
The loft bedroom is furnished with a double bed and boasts delightful views of the sea and lighthouse. The bathroom has a Victorian bath (hand shower in bath) and toilet. There is an open plan lounge / kitchen with sash windows. This section of the house opens onto grape vine covered verandah with ocean views.

The Stables:
The open plan studio cottage has stunning sea views from the double bed which is on a raised level. There is a separate shower and toilet. The lounge and kitchenette overlooks the garden and also has magnificent sea views. This cottage is ideal for elderly.

Additional

A basic housekeeping service is available. This includes: general sweeping of the entire unit; cleaning of bathrooms and making up of the bed only.

This service is not available on every day of the stay and arrangements must be made with management.

Pets

Bosky Dell is a Pet Friendly establishment. We have two Border Collies and a cat that live on the property. They are well behaved and respond well to commands - these will be provided.
There is also the possibility that we will have visiting pets so please take this into consideration when booking.

Should you want your pet to join you, please make sure that you have discussed this with at the time of booking, please do not just arrive with your pet.

Your pet will have to be well socialised (humans and other animals) and will not be allowed to roam freely (unsupervised). They must be accompanied by you at all times. Pets are not allowed on the beds and furniture and it goes without saying that you will need to attend to any litter.

A deposit is payable in cash per pet.
