Bramleigh Farm offers quiet, eco-friendly accommodation on a small scale diversified farm nestled between mountains and indigenous forest. Bramleigh Farm is situated near Fort Nottingham, 20 minutes from the village of Nottingham Road in the KZN Midlands.

Being tucked away on a secluded hillside provides the ideal opportunity for a quiet, country getaway with no TV or cellphone signal. Although high speed WiFi is offered throughout, we encourage guests to switch off and relax. The farm animals promise daily entertainment. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a peaceful walk along the stream through the indigenous forest, home to over 200 species of birds, age-old Yellowwood trees and the shy Samango monkey. Or views over the valley from the grasslands. Or simply curl up with a book next to a wood burning stove, relax on the patio and soak up the fresh air.

Self Catering Accommodation

Our accommodation supports sustainable tourism, without minimising on comfort - solar powered with electric blankets, energy efficient lighting and appliances, beneath the shelter of thatch insulation, wood burning stoves in the rooms, water from a forest stream, and natural cleaning products.

The Orchard Cottage is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with an open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. Other bedrooms are en suite with a Victorian style bathtub and separate shower. The cottage is away from the main house and has its own private entrance with undercover parking for 2 vehicles.

Enjoy a guided tour of our regenerative farm and purchase farm fresh produce such as pasture raised chicken and eggs, forest raised pork and seasonal vegetables.

On Site Facilities

Guests are welcome to make use of the sun lounge, dining room and cozy lounge - each with a wood burning stove - in the manor house. Board games and books available.
