Each cottage has either a double bed or 2 single beds in the main bedroom, a double bunk for children in the second bedroom and 2 single beds in the lounge / dining area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped including double door fridge / freezer and microwave and a gas stove with oven. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. Bed linen is provided but guests are required to bring their own toiletries, bath and kitchen towels. All cottages have a TV (with SABC channels and a satellite dish so bring your own standard decoder for full dstv), their own braai area and monitored security and there is a security gate at the entrance to the resort.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
