Brunia Cottage offers accommodation in Stanford on the Stanford Hills Estate on the banks of the Klein River. The village is only two hours drive from Cape Town and has retained most of its old world charm with its period houses and wide streets.

At Stanford Hills Estate, children of all ages are welcome and so are your pets. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and enjoy the natural flora and fauna of the area.

Self Catering Accommodation

Brunia Cottage is an old labourers cottage in Stanford that has been restored to offer comfort and self-contained convenience. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with twin / two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

There is a comfortable lounge with a sleeper couch and a fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-plate mini oven, microwave, under-the-counter fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery, and cooking utensils.

The French doors leading out from the lounge open up onto a large private patio, with braai facilities and views over the Stanford Valley.

Brunia Cottage is adjacent to Sylvia Cottage and is approximately a 5 minute walk from the admin office and the restaurant.

Breakfast & Dining

The Tasting Room is open 7 days a week, serving breakfast from 08h30 to 11h00 and lunch from 12h00 to 16h00. Chalkboard menu using locally sourced products. Fully licenced including Wine Tasting of the wines produced at Stanford Hills Estate.
