Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge is located on the Madikwe Game Reserve. The lodge offers accommodation which is spectacularly positioned on the Tweedepoort Ridge overlooking the plains and inselbergs of the Madikwe Game Reserve. A uniquely designed ‘Treehouse' style lodge offers space, comfort and views forever.

Accommodation

Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge has eight luxury thatched chalets. Each chalet has a large double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The rooms and bathrooms have sliding doors leading outside to a private viewing deck. Each room has a telephone, ceiling fan, turndown service, desk seating area, bathroom amenities, wake-up calls, maid service, tea and coffee and hairdryer. Each room has internet access.

The main lodge is spectacularly located on two tiers of the ridge, accessed via a wooden bridge that crosses a ravine surrounded by rock figs. Each of the living areas has its own character, mood and style providing guests with a choice of breath-taking views and tranquil spaces. The lodge has reception, dining, lounge, upper and lower deck and swimming pool areas.

Open vehicle game drives, stargazing, bush dining, birding, botanical interests. Madikwe is home to a tremendous diversity of fauna and flora, including black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. The lodge is a superb open vehicle safari destination where guests are accompanied by well -trained and informative rangers who are able to interpret the many encounters whilst on safari.
