About Bushriver Lodge
Bushriver Lodge is located on Farm Oxford in Hoedspruit and offers self catering accommodation which is ideally situated to explore the Lowveld and surroundings. Bushriver Lodge offers the bush, the birds, water gurgling over the rocks in the river below, hippos wallowing just meters away in the cool waters of the Olifants river, crocodiles basking lazily on the island, a mere stone-throw away.
Self Catering Accommodation
Bushriver Lodge has five suites, all with access to a communal fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are situated next to the main lodge.
The rooms are air conditioned and have tea / coffee facilities, personal safe, hairdryer, pool towels, complimentary toiletries and ironing facilities.

Activities
A gentle morning stroll along the river will relax your senses, or for the more energetic, bush walks and mountain biking trails are always exciting. Game drives provide guests with the opportunity to view the game from an open vehicle. Wildlife photographers and bird watchers can enjoy the abundance of birds and wildlife on the farm. Sundowners on the deck, next to a camp-fire, listening to the sounds of the African bush is a great way to end your day. Bushriver Lodge is ideally situated and the perfect spot from which to explore the nearby Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, the Panorama Route and other great tourist attractions in the area.

Verified review
Real bushy experience. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wildlife right on your stoep. Less impressed with communal kitchen. Hoedspruit is close by for shopping or restaurants. Near to both Phalaborwa and Orpen gates to Kruger National Park.
