Cape Canary is a cosy self-catering eco-cabin offering accommodation in Citrusdal perched on the side of the mountain, with sweeping views down the valley.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Cape Canary is a self-catering holiday cottage in Citrusdal sleeping two guests. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. There is a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Eco friendly bathroom amenities are provided.

There is a sitting area with Wi-Fi and a basic kitchenette equipped with a fridge, kettle, two plate gas stove, crockery and cutlery. Outside there is a patio with braai facilities a dining table and two chairs with magnificent views.

This cabin features a private Wood-burning Hot tub and access to a communal pool shared with two other cabins.

The cabin is pet friendly - maximum two dogs.

EXPERIENCES

The cabins provide a comfortable base for days spent hiking, swimming, bird watching and exploring the magnificent rock formations, some of them featuring ancient Khoisan rock paintings. Or simply relax on the deck and take in the mountain views, rejuvenating your body and soul.

Nights are for stargazing and storytelling around a crackling fire, listening to the sounds of Nature. You may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of our nocturnal animals like Cape Leopard, Aardvark, African wildcat, Bat-eared fox, Cape fox or porcupine.

Majestic, sweeping vistas stretch across the valley to the Sneeuberg Mountains, and crystal-clear springs feed the pond, dam and natural swimming pool, offering many options to cool off in the summer heat. In the area you will find the Citrusdal Golf Club, restaurants, Natural Hotsprings and Boschkloof 4X4 Trail.
