Cape Chestnut is comprised of four bedrooms and can accommodate up to9 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and share two bathrooms that are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There is also a guest toilet. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two Queen-size beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The main living area is open-plan, a beautiful design which incorporates a kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a six plate gas stove, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Also included is a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Leading off from the kitchen is a spacious and warm lounge which is comfortably furnished and includes a fireplace and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is available. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. A furnished, covered patio boasts distant ocean views and on the downstairs level of the home is a garden with an outdoor shower as well as an outdoor dining table and braai facilities.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
