About Cape Riviera Guesthouse
Situated in the picturesque Cape Town suburb of Oranjezicht, you will find Cape Riviera - a luxury guest house, with panoramic city views and the majestic Table Mountain as a backdrop.
This owner run establishment offers accommodation in Cape Town in two adjacent houses; a magnificent Manor House designed by Sir Herbert Baker and the second, a more modern addition, which boasts an elevator. With two swimming pools, one separating the two houses and the other set in a lush garden provides a sense of privacy and tranquility, whilst enjoying sweeping views of the Molteno Reservoir and surrounds.
Accommodation
Each of the 12 en-suite bedrooms are stylishly decorated and include a variety of private features such as, wireless internet, air conditioning, highest quality linen, private terraces, balconies and courtyard access, mini bar, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, and satellite television.
Standard Rooms:
Comfortable sized rooms in Manor House with secluded, south facing, cosy courtyards. The en suite bathrooms are furnished with Queen size beds and have large showers, though no bath.
Superior Rooms:
Room 2: In Manor House, a medium sized room with queen bed. The en-suite bathroom has large shower and bath.
Room 7: A spacious room with a queen bed on courtyard level of the 2nd house. This room can be converted into a family room, adding two single beds. The en-suite has bath, large shower and double basins.
Room 11: Magnificent view of Table Mountain and cableway. Has a king bed that can be converted into twin. En-suite has large shower, bath and twin basins.
Luxury Rooms:
Room 1: Spacious room in Manor House, with comfortable armchairs overlooking the pool and garden. En-suite has bath and large shower. This room has a Queen sized bed.
Room 6: North facing large room overlooking the main house on courtyard level. This room has a comfortable lounge area, within the room and large balcony. King size bed, and can be diverted into twin.
Room 10: With its elevated position, it has uninterrupted views of Signal Hill, city bowl and Table Bay. Large balcony makes for perfect balmy nights. King sized bed, and can be diverted into twin. The en-suite has large shower, twin basins, but no bath. Has elevator access.
Rooms 8, 9, 12: Spacious north and south facing rooms overlooking main house, with views of the mountain and city. These rooms have comfortable lounge areas within the room and large balconies. These rooms have a king sized bed and can be converted into a twin.
Breakfast
Breakfast is a lavish affair, stepping into a different time in the high ceiling dining room, with the ornate walls and hand carved fireplace. Scents of freshly bake croissants, cut fruit and handpicked herbs from the kitchen garden wafts through as the first rays of sunshine filters through the bay windows.
