Caribbean Estate 1139 offers comfortable accommodation in Port Edward for six guests. In the lush tropical setting on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal is a unique private Estate called Caribbean Estates, bordered by the Indian Ocean on the East and the Umtamvuna River on the South.

Direct access to the unspoilt beach and the grand Umtamvuna River is via scenic walkways through the beautiful conservation area, where a huge variety of birdlife can be seen. The patient observer may even come across small buck species and Samango monkeys.

Self Catering Accommodation

Caribbean Estate 1139 is a self catering holiday home in Port Edward with three en-suite bedrooms.

The first and second bedrooms are furnished with Queen-size beds and the third room is furnished with two single beds. Two bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and the third is fitted with a shower over the bath, toilet and basin. There is a loft room with a sleeper couch suitable for two small children.

There is an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes a washing machine, dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools.

The lounge is comfortably furnished and is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels.

Outside there is a patio with an outdoor lounge and a built in braai. Covered parking is provided.

Facilities

Caribbean Estates facilities include a main swimming pool complex with two additional pools on the estate. There are tennis courts and a small playground for children. Guests are allowed to bring their own boats or take advantage of the jet ski, boats and other equipment at Waterworld across the river. The reception is open 24 hours a day, and 24 hour security is also provided.
