Casa Caro is a double storey house with three en-suite bedrooms furnished with Queen-size beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Each room also has a heater. Linen and bath towels are provided, please bring your own swimming towels. Upstairs is the main living area with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped including a gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher. The dining table seats ten guests. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The cosy lounge has a TV with Netflix and Showmax. Free Wi-Fi is also provided. The seating area opens onto a balcony, ideal for a morning coffee and admiring the panoramic views. Downstairs is a patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub. There is also easy access to the beach. The home has solar power in case of power outages. The caretaker lives in separate living quarters and is available for dishwashing, laundry, garbage disposal, braai lighting, car washing. This service is optional and available free of charge.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
