About Casa Mia Guesthouse

Casa Mia Guesthouse is a Tuscan-styled guest house that provides accommodation in Cape Town. The guest house is situated on the border of the Rietvlei Nature Reserve with its abundant bird life where you will be able to watch flocks of flamingoes, pelicans and a myriad of waders as well as other bird species frequenting our backyard.

Accommodation

Casa Mia Guesthouse offers two Standard Suites, three Executive Suites, one Executive Family Suite and one Presidential Suite on a B&B basis. The Presidential Suite has a large balcony with a magnificent uninterrupted view of Table Mountain. All the rooms, with the exception of the Presidential, are semi self-catering with a microwave oven and a fridge.

Each suite includes wall-panel heaters, ceiling fans / pedestal fans, air-conditioning, a hairdryer, and flat-screen TV with hotel bouquet DStv. A DVD player is also available.

Standard Suites x2:
These suites each have a double bed and contain a kitchenette that is equipped with utensils, a microwave, kettle and a bar fridge (that is stocked with soft drinks, beers, and South African white and red wines). There is also a two seater dining table and chairs.

Executive Suites x2:
Each suite includes an extra length Queen-size beds, the bathrooms feature a shower-over-bath and bathroom amenities. The kitchenette's are equipped with utensils, a microwave, kettle and a fridge / freezer (that is stocked with soft drinks, beers, and South African white and red wines). The dining area features a four seater dining table and chairs. The lounge area has a single bed for a third guest.

Executive Family Suite x1:
The suite has a bedroom with a dedicated nook with a bunk bed (suitable for 2 children), a bathroom, an open-plan lounge / dining area with kitchenette. The bedroom features an extra length Queen-size bed and the bathroom has a shower-over-bath with bathroom amenities. The kitchenette includes utensils, a microwave, kettle and fridge / freezer (that is stocked with soft drinks, beers, and South African white and red wines). The dining area has a four seater dining table and chairs.

Presidential Suite x1:
The Presidential Suite features an enormous glass front with sliding doors opening onto a balcony facing the extensive wetlands, with Table Mountain forming the backdrop. This first floor room has a King-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a bath, a shower, and bathroom amenities.

Dining

Casa Mia serves a variety of a la carte breakfasts ranging from a full South African breakfast, to omelets and French toast. All breakfasts are freshly prepared each morning while you are busy enjoying your cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Halaal, Kosher or Vegetarian breakfasts are also available upon request, with a day's notification.

The guest house has an honesty bar with a variety of drinks and good quality red and white wines. The bar fridge is stocked with soft drinks, beers and ciders.
