Cayley Mountain Resort offers Champagne Valley accommodation, set in the central Drakensberg with views over the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. The Bell Park Dam lies within easy access from the resort grounds and is the centre of many leisure activities. Go fishing or enjoy a ride on one of our Cayley Cruiser barges.
Accommodation
This modern lifestyle resort offers side by side chalets and villas spread along the ridge, and offers magnificent views over the dam towards the mountains. Each unit is fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some units also have a kitchen or a kitchenette, a stove, an oven, and a toaster. Each unit features a private bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linen are offered.

The property features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar and shop / cafe where guests can relax and socialise. The Body Bliss Day Spa will indulge your senses with massages, beauty treatments and a steam room.

Dining
The on-site bar and restaurant has a warm, welcoming ambience, with couches and a fireplace for those chilly nights in the mountains. The fully stocked bar offers a variety of delicious cocktails while the restaurant's menu features a delicious variety, with something for everyone, for the times when you don't want to cook. Orders for the kitchen must be placed before 21h00. If you come into the restaurant to place an order, we will happily deliver your meal to your unit. Our cosy café offers a variety of coffee and other hot beverages and is located just off the convenience shop.
Activities
From Bell Park Dam guests can enjoy a variety of water–based activities from fishing to kayaking, and pleasure cruises to Cayley Beach Club, out floating Water Park. Bell Park dam is situated below the resort and offers many fish species such as Smallmouth Yellows, Bass and Carp. You can also hire one of the Cayley Cruiser boats should you wish to fish from the water. Relax, be pampered and indulge in some beauty treatments to melt your stress away at our Body Bliss Day Spa. There is a games room with pool and foosball, many hiking trails, jungle gym, trampolines, outdoor chess and so much more to keep the family entertained. Please note the Rope Park is closed until further notice.

Verified review
After a mix up with the booking, the lady at reception quickly sorted it out without any trouble. The room was perfect with an amazing view. Just a recommendation: I know Covid makes life difficult, but if you expect people to do take aways at your restaurant, at least provide some basic cutlery. Eating out of take away boxes without a plate or knife at a 4 star resort is a bit of a turnoff. That aside, we will definitely visit again, this time for a longer stay.
