If you dream of a wedding moulded around your personality, a special celebration, or wellness retreat, you would love Cederkloof Venue. Set amongst orange orchards and fynbos covered mountains of the Olifants River Valley. We have several different outdoor ceremony areas, from a beautiful stretch of lawn beside the swimming pool to a hexagon stone platform in the mountains or a deck over a river under indigenous willows and wild olives.

The Venue

The Opstal venue building is a magnificent indoor-outdoor space for your reception or party. The venue's commercial-grade kitchen spills into the outdoor bread / pizza oven, large fireplaces, lawns, and swimming communal pool space.

Relaxed, unfussy and all about friends; Cederkloof can host a gathering from 10 to 120 guests with onsite accommodation in cottages or luxury tents for 30 to 40 guests. The Citrusdal area offers plenty of activities to keep your guests busy before and after the big event.

Cederkloof venue is situated in a beautiful garden setting surrounded by natural features, reducing the need for elaborate decorations. Ten seater tables, place settings and comfortable white chairs are included in the venue cost. There are no hidden fees or charges for the use of caterers or corkage on alcohol service.

All costs are clear and upfront, eliminating disappointing surprises. The world-class harvest tables of our local caterer will inspire you, or bring your favourite chef for their culinary favourites.

Extras

For your guest's entertainment, we offer a few hiking trails, lawn games and plenty of sporting and cultural activities in the environment. We can arrange for a local wine and gin farm to do a tasting here at the venue as part of your festivities or order wine in advance for pre-delivery.

As a memorial, you have the option to plant a tree in our growing indigenous forest.
