Collingwood House has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The third and fourth bedroom are furnished with double beds. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own beach towels. Please ensure that no bath towels are taken to the swimming pool or beach front. There is a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including a dishwasher and washing machine. We have Open View TV – there are over 18 TV channels and 28 radio channels (with some channels in HD), you get non-stop entertainment for the whole family. This large and comfortable home is secluded and child friendly, and has a large balcony, half of which is enclosed, where you can enjoy the sea view while soaking up the sun. Braai facilities are available. We have recently installed a Jojo tank and there is a 2-gas plate with a full gas cylinder as well as 2 LED lights for when we experience load shedding. There is a double garage, alarm system, large tropical garden, a swimming pool and entertainment area. A daily cleaning service is included.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
