About Coot Club
A most dramatic setting, between the green slopes of the Maanschynkop mountains and a spit of land bordered by the glittering waters of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, the bird-rich Klein River flows.
Tucked into the milkwood forest that fringes the southern banks, overlooking the tranquil lagoon waters, and within reach of Walker Bay, where Southern Right whales nurse their calves from July to November, Coot Club offers experiences as diverse as the species it nurtures.
Accommodation
The properties are set along one-and-a-half kilometres of unspoilt shoreline and 1 000 acres of indigenous fynbos and strandveld, that backs onto the Walker Bay Nature Reserve in between Hermanus and De Kelders.

Meals
The Clubhouse is now located in the historic 1892 Spookhuis serving light lunches. In addition to served meals you are able to pre-order delicious breakfast baskets, dinner dishes, braai platters, organic produce and homemade baked goods to be delivered to your cottage.

The newly renovated Lawns is a Three-Bedroom Holiday Home with beautiful mountain and lagoon views. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living area, dining area, two patios, upper deck, fireplace, outdoor BBQ. Sleeping nine, this spacious house is perfect for families, featuring a double volume living / dining area with glass doors that open onto two large porches, one with mountain and lagoon views and one looking into a milkwood grove. An upper deck leads off the loft with panoramic mountain and lagoon views. Built of limestone from Mosaic, the interior has beautiful natural finishes, stone Mosaics and granite counters in the open kitchen. Bedroom 1: King bed, bathtub, out door shower, glass doors open onto porch. Bedroom 2: Twin beds, shower (wheel chair accessible), glass doors open onto porch. Loft: four twin beds, glass doors open onto upper deck, separate bath with shower on the 1st level. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to create the most magical wedding for us. It was a weekend we will never forget and we have to compliment you all on your professional service, very obvious teamwork and "nothing is too much" approach to each and every guest! The braai was spectacular, the accommodation was exceptional from the cottages to the lush lodges, the service was impeccable and the attention to detail at the wedding did not go unnoticed. Compliments also have to go the babysitting done with such love. Grazie mille a tutti!!! We will be back.
