Crocriver Chalet is a self catering holiday home with three bedrooms. One private bedroom and two bedrooms in the open loft on the top floor. There is one bathroom in the chalet with a bath, basin and separate toilet. A second bathroom is located outside and overlooks the river through a big glass window. This bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. Both bathrooms have hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a four burner gas hob, electric oven, large fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. There is a breakfast bar with stools. The kitchen and lounge are open plan. The lounge has comfortable furniture, TV with full DStv package and a fireplace. Outside there is a large wooden deck with a beautiful view of the Crocodile River. The deck is equipped with a wooden table and six chairs. Down by the river is a braai lapa with fireplace for braais, entertaining and relaxing.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
