Crow's Nest is a double storey unit with five en-suite bedrooms and a guest bathroom. Three of the rooms each contain a King-size bed, while the other two rooms are furnished with twin beds. The bathrooms are fitted with baths and showers or showers only and for convenience, bed linen and towels are provided and each room has a TV. The open-plan living area offers a kitchen that is fully equipped with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and a 10-seater dining table. The lounge has a cosy fireplace with a comfortable L-shape couch and a TV. The apartment opens onto a wrap-around balcony with outdoor seating, enjoying beautiful views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads. Braai facilities, Wi-Fi, an inverter and parking are available.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
