Sitting on a high hilltop, Cussonia Cottage provides self catering accommodation in Haenertsburg set on a working timber farm, with unrivalled, views of the Iron Crown and Wolkberg Mountains. Cussonia Cottage is embraced by the beautiful, indigenous "Mountain Cabbage" trees that give the cottage its name.

Self Catering Accommodation

Cussonia Holiday Cottage in Haenertsburg can accommodate four guests. The cottage has two bedrooms; one is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other is furnished with a double bed.

Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom; one is fitted with a bath/shower combo, a toilet and basin and the second bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The spacious living area is fully tiled and comfortably furnished with couches and a dining table. There is a wood burning fireplace for the chilly winter evenings. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and includes a microwave, a refrigerator and a gas stove.

The cottage boasts a large garden with wonderful bird life and beautiful views. There are braai facilities and secure parking.

Guests are free to wander and walk around the farm's gardens, wild grassland, plantations and indigenous forest. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as the gardens are often visited by Knysna Louries, Double-collared Sunbird and more rarities.
