About De Old Drift Guest Farm
De Old Drift Guest Farm is located a short distance from the little village of Addo in South Africa's malaria-free Eastern Cape province and only 15 minutes drive from the renowned Addo Elephant National Park, with its big seven, and numerous other species.
De Old Drift is a working citrus farm, one of the smallest but most peaceful farms in the area. Take a slow stroll through the orchards when the trees are in blossom and the smell of citrus permeates the air, venture down to The Sundays River, only a short 200 metres walk away, where Njala, Kudu's and Rooibok can be seen on the ridge of the mountain or relax around the pool after an exciting day of adventures and game viewing in the Elephant Park.
Start your day with a wholesome, revitalising breakfast in our thatched roof lapa, overlooking the garden and swimming pool area. Adventure, fun and games await children, with Pumba (Labrador), Timone (Jack Russel) and Mufasa (Bullmastiff) who love to make new friends and play... a farm-style wonderland for all children.
Your hosts Neels & Juanita will make sure that your stay will be one to remember.
Accommodation
De Old Drift offers a variety of comfortable and spacious furnished rooms, with the option of Self-Catering and Bed and Breakfast Accommodation. All our rooms are tastefully furnished with close attention to detail. Enjoy the peace and quiet on your patio overlooking the garden and mountains with only the sounds of nature at your doorstep. The furniture in the rooms have all been crafted by hand and made from Oregon pine - wood that was salvaged from the original “Drifthouse Inn”. As you arrive, the welcoming aroma of lavender fills the air, and butterflies compliment your arrival

Join us in our thatched dining room for a scrumptious breakfast before your day's adventures or enjoy a sun-downer with us before sitting down to a delicious homemade meal for dinner! For self-catering guests, breakfast is available at an additional cost. Please inform us upon arrival if you would like to join for dinner. We serve light lunches on request.

De Old Drift is a Guest House situated in the heart of Addo, on a working citrus farm and not only does it boast a rich history in the area but it is in close proximity to many other attractions in the Sundays River Valley.
With the Addo Elephant National Park on our doorstep, home to 5 of the 7 plant biomes, the Big 7 and its pride in natural conservation efforts – this Park is a must see destination!
There a number of guided tour options in and around the Park as well as many Adventure activities such as birding, hiking, horse-riding and canoe safaris, elephant back safaris and crisscross adventures. Alternatively you can relax by the pool or at the Casa Mia Health Spa.
