About De Oude Pastorie
De Oude Pastorie offers accommodation in Victoria West, in the oldest house in the town. The home was the first parsonage of the Dutch Reformed Church. The cypress trees in front of the house are even older than the building itself.

Guests can relax in the lounge area which has a TV and a fireplace or just enjoy the stars and silence of the Karoo. There is also a playground for the children. Safe parking is provided on the premises. Please note we do not have credit card facilities on-site.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner packets are also available on request and must be booked in advance. We also have braai facilities.
Attractions
The owner is a breeder of show poultry and we find that the guests love experiencing this as it is quite different from your average establishment. We are walking distance from hiking trails, the Apollo theatre, District museum and restaurant.

Beautiful old home, the oldest in Victoria West, still with original floors and windows. Delightful host. The room was spotless, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the bed length electric blanket was a soporophic joy on a cool night since the room got quite cold. A good restaurant nearby is also a plus. I have fond memories of my night there.
