De Pakhuys Glamp and Camp offers the most centrally located accommodation in Rocklands, South Africa. Nestled in the picturesque Agter-Pakhuis Valley, 26 km from Clanwilliam on route to the historic Wupperthal village, you will find De Pakhuys Farm.
Accommodation
We offer three glamping cabins and a campsite with ten sites, a permanent caravan and four wooden cabins. The area around the camp is rich in natural beauty, craggy boulders and bush typical of the Cederberg. All accommodation has access to Wi-Fi and braai facilities.
The glamping cabins have their own kitchen areas. The cabins and camp sites share the ablution block.
Bedding and linen is not provided for the cabins, caravan or camp sites.
Attractions & Activities
The farm offers a beautiful scenic drive to the top section of the farm accessible only with a 4x4 vehicle. The top section of the farm consists of 60 ha of rooibos tea lands and 260 ha of unspoilt fynbos gorges and wild flowers during season.
Hundred years old Wild Olive trees, or commonly known as olienhout trees, can be found wedged between the rocks. An old hollow rock cave can be used for a picnic or for those that really wants to "rough it", as an overnight camping spot.

We booked into Bokmakierie cottage to see the flowers in Bidouw Valley and DePakhuis was in constant contact by whatapp to confirm booking and give directions how to get there and what to do upon late arrival...communication is excellent! The cottage exceeded our expectations and everything was just perfect, so clean and had everything we needed for a nights stay, the hot tub was lovely when heated and star gazing awesome. We took a walk the next day to the waterfall before booking out. Young people were camping for a Rock climbing competition being held the weekend and lovely to see how quiet they were, friendly and just out enjoying nature. We could collect wood at reception after hours and paid @ R20 bag before booking out. Little shop at reception has badic needs and nice souvinours. Only approx 1km from tar road just a few kilometres before Bideouw turnoff on right. Its a working farm with olive trees and rock climbing paradise and good base to explore the Cederberg. We were three ladies and felt very safe, were well looked after by staff member at reception and will definately want to book again. they have beautiful glamping tents and more cottages, you can also take your own tent for camping on open ground or stay in basic 2 bed wooden huts (mainly for rock climbers) Stunning place and people...until next time.
