About Deruxa Cottages

Deruxa Cottages boasts pristine bushveld and has been game fenced and a number of game species have been introduced. Deruxa Cottages are situated 40km's north of Pretoria and 22km's west of Cullinan and gives one the opportunity for a break-away without having to drive for hours.

Accommodation

Family Bungalow x1:
The “Farmhouse” is a self-catering unit that can accommodate between eight and ten guests. The unit consists of a main king en-suite bedroom, a double bedroom with bathroom and a twin room with bathroom. There are also two single beds in the reading area.

The huge kitchen is well stocked and has all basic cooking utensils. The “Farmhouse” also has a dining room and TV room with 10 channels DStv. No smart card required. A pool table and games cupboard is supplied for your leisure. The facilities at the self-catering lapa includes a pizza oven and 12 seater table under a wooden deck which is close to the swimming pool. Lush lawns and tree canopies surround the units.

Executive Bungalow x3:
These cottages accommodates two guests each either on king, queen or twin beds. They are en-suite and have tea / coffee making facilities, a fridge, air-conditioning and a fireplace. Meals are taken at the main lapa on a set menu. Special requests can be accommodated for functions.

Standard Bungalow x1:
The last unit is quite unique in the fact that it used to be horse stables. It has been beautifully refurbished and is now used as a honeymoon suite / private getaway. It is situated farther from the main area and is a self-catering unit. It has a small kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave oven and cutlery and crockery for four guests.

The outside patio and boma / braai area provides for the outdoor living. It has a king size bed or twin beds according to the request. There is also a double sleeper couch in the unit for children.

The Service

Our staff are well trained and live on the premises. The units are serviced once daily and laundry may me done at an additional cost.

A variety of cereals, muesli, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, pastries and / or a full warm breakfast including French toast, bacon, sausages and toast or vetkoek and mince are offered.
