Desert Inn Guest House is an elegant upmarket and tranquil guest house located in the center of town in Middelburg in the Eastern Cape. At Desert Inn Guest House, our aim is to make guests feel at home and provide professional and excellent services.

Location & Attractions

Middelburg lies in the middle of the Karoo, surrounded by mountains and is halfway between Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein as well as Johannesburg and Cape Town, making it an ideal stopover location.

Just outside of town lies the Karoo National Park which is one of the main attractions to this part of the world and is home to black rhino, buffalo, Cape mountain zebra, and plenty of bird life. The town is also steeped in Anglo Boer War history.

Kamers smaaklik en baie netjies en skoon. Ek kan dit aanbeveel. daar was egter geen koffie of tee ens in die kamers nie wat regtig 'n teleurstelling was vir mense wat net oorslaap en nie bottels koffie ens wil saamry nie. Die eerste gastehuis ooit wat ek sonder koffie aantref. Verder geen probleem en ek sal weer die fasiliteit gebruik maar asseblief koffie of tee en melk.
