Die Kliphuis is situated on a private farm at the foot of the majestic Towerkop Mountain in our Dwarsrivier valley. Here lies our little escape from the hustle and bustle of reality. The farm is located near the popular Route 62, which is linked by tarred main roads to Cape Town and Oudtshoorn.

Self Catering Accommodation

Die Kliphuis is a split-level holiday cottage furnished with a double bed on the ground floor and a double and three single beds on the top floor, with bedding and towels supplied. Our open plan bathroom offers you a shower with a view.

The living area includes a dining table and chairs, a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace.

There is a braai inside and a braai on the stoep, with enough wood supplied for your use.

We make use of solar power for electricity and gas for stovetop cooking and hot water.

We also offer a splash pool for those really hot Karoo days to cool in.

Attractions

Our stoep offers you breathtaking views of our Game animals walking about and feeding. It also offers great bird spotting for the enthusiastic bird watchers. For the hikers and cyclist enthusiast there is also a vast amount of space to enjoy your sport. You can even take family for a game drive through our game farm.
