About Dikgomo Cottage

Dikgomo Cottage offers self-catering accommodation in Cullinan in a refurbished dairy, located on a small farm in De Wagensdrift. The farm is home to indigenous Nguni cattle and is a wonderful spot for a tranquil retreat from the city. The cottage is situated 22km North of Cullinan within easy reach of Rust de Winter and Dinokeng Game Reserve.

Self Catering Accommodation

Dikgomo Cottage Holiday Home in Cullinan has two bedrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with a single bed. A single sleeper couch is provided in the lounge. Guests share the use of a bathroom that is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Provision is made for loadshedding these includes candles paraffin lamps and a gas stove to ensure a noise free stay.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge, gas stove, microwave, toaster, airfryer and kettle. Crockery for four people is included as well as serving dishes. The lounge / dining room makes provision for four guests and has a TV with openview channels. The patio area is part of the package with a table, weber braai and chairs.

Guests enjoy access to a private boma, braai area and a splash pool outside the cottage.

Note

A two night stay is required on weekends.

Pets

Pets are welcome by arrangement. Pets are allowed off leash if they are used to an open environment. The pets are also allowed inside the cottage.

Join the Dairy walk, for those interested in taking a stroll we offer a walk on the farm past various natural nature wonders, from jackal dens to lizard holes.

Attractions

For the keen bass fisherman, there are four fishing locations within easy reach. Self drive game viewing can be undertaking within the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Guided game drives are available at various other private game farms.

For the action activity enthusiasts the following are within reach: Zipline, Quad trail, Quad safari, Target Archery, Archery Tag, Abseil, Rap Jump, Horse Riding, Hiking, Djembe Drumming, Bushman, Fire-making, Amazing Race and a Full Moon Glide. The Historic Cullinan town offers its own enticement from old village stores to mine tours.
