There is a main house and an adjoining double storey flat which has a steep staircase to the top room and bathroom. It is not self-contained. The main house has three bedrooms; a master bedroom with a cot and two other bedrooms each with three beds. The adjoining flat has two bedrooms. All bedrooms have single beds, a dressing table, wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps and chairs. There are two bathrooms, one in the main house with a shower, toilet and basin and one upstairs in the flat with a bath, basin and toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes a dishwasher, modern microwave with grill, sinks, a washing machine and electric stove. There is also a large modern fridge / freezer, a chest freezer and bar fridge in the dining room. The windows from the kitchen look right out to sea – you may be able to spot pods of dolphins as you prepare breakfast! There is a dining room which leads out onto a patio overlooking the sea. The patio is equipped with a Weber (oven type barbecue), a braai (barbecue) and a Skottel (gas open dish cooker). The comfortable lounge has large windows and leads out onto a veranda. The lounge has a colour TV and a DStv dish suitable for a Explora decoder. Guests are requested to bring their own decoders.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
