Elandsvlei Farmhouse is the perfect bush getaway for larger groups looking for privacy, peace and tranquillity amongst beautiful African wildlife. The Farmhouse offers Waterberg accommodation on a private estate in the Waterberg region, approximately 44 km from Mookgopong.
Self Catering Accommodation
The fully furnished, African-designed farmhouse holiday home in Mookgopong can accommodate up to twelve guests and boasts five luxury suites with en-suite bathrooms, connected to the main living area.
The main bedroom and the second bedroom are furnished with a King-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The third room is furnished with twin beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.
The fourth bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The fifth bedroom is furnished with two single beds, a bunk bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin.
The full kitchen and side kitchen contain a fridge / freezer, drinks fridge, stove / oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, ice maker, kettle, tea, coffee and sugar.
The living area is comfortably furnished and has a dining area. Free Wi-Fi is provided.
On Site Facilities
Outside is a covered braai area with outside seating for up to twelve guests. There is also an open air braai area. Firewood is provided. Guests can enjoy the splash pool with loungers overlooking the beautiful dam.
Attractions
The farmhouse is located on a 2000-hectare private game farm between Mookgphong and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest and many other species that reside on the farm. This beautiful mountain location has many roads and trails that are ideal for hiking, running, and mountain biking. The estate's dams are great for fishing, and guests are welcome to try their luck fishing for various species including tilapia, bream and catfish.
Game drives can be arranged at an additional fee per person, and include 2+ hours of game viewing, as well as sundowner drinks and snacks in a beautiful location.

It was a refreshing experience. The place was very clean and comfortable. The hosts, Nicolas and Margaux are so sweet, they are the best. They made sure our stay was lovely. I highly recommend the place, if you want a break from the city, this is definitely the place.
