Elangeni comprises of two en-suite bedrooms, one with an extra-length King-size bed and the other with two single beds bed which can be converted into a King-size bed. There is a fireplace in each of the bedrooms for those chilly evenings and all linen and bath towels are provided. One of the bathrooms consist of a shower and the other has a bath. Both rooms have double doors with a view of the courtyard (these do not open). The courtyard is ideal for outdoor entertaining and braai's. The house also features an outside water feature where guests can be lulled to sleep by the sound of gently flowing water. The kitchen, dining and living area are open-plan, with a large fireplace in the lounge and decorated in an African-Colonial style and tastefully furnished with unique pieces of original African art. The kitchen is equipped for self catering with a fridge, an oven, a hob, a microwave, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware. The front door opens onto a sunny veranda which overlooks a pond, home to a shoal of goldfish. Savour the peacefulness and relax with a good book while glancing up at the view of the Kogelberg mountains.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
