Emma's Beach Cottage is a delightful pet-friendly holiday home located in the picturesque town of Great Brak River. Situated near the beach, this self-catering property is perfect for families or groups of up to ten people seeking relaxation and stunning ocean views.

Self-Catering Accommodation

The house features five spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first two bedrooms each have a double bed, while the third bedroom is equipped with two single beds. The fourth bedroom offers a bunk bed, ideal for two children, and the fifth bedroom also contains a double bed. The bathrooms are conveniently set up: the first includes a shower, the second is fitted with a bath, and the third has a shower, washbasin, and toilet. For added comfort, linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, along with cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Adjacent to the kitchen, the living area boasts a large dining table, comfortable seating, and a TV with streaming apps. The cottage also has an inverter to power the TV and free Wi-Fi during power outages. From the living area, you can step out onto a covered patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ/braai area, perfect for entertaining.

A set of outdoor stairs leads to a balcony, offering breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Guests also benefit from secure parking on the property. Emma's Beach Cottage is conveniently located near local shops, restaurants, and various recreational activities.

The village gets its name from the brackish waters of the Brak Rivers, where the lagoon's mouth splits into two sandy channels, creating a small island between them.

This quaint island, linked to the mainland by a single-lane bridge, is home to many holiday cottages, offering a peaceful retreat. Narrow lanes wind between the cottages, leading down to the sandy shores. With roots tracing back to 1859, the village's history began with the construction of a toll bridge over the river, adding to the charm and character of this tranquil getaway.
