Self Catering Accommodation

Offering pet-friendly accommodation in Umdloti, Escape To Oceanbreaks is an air conditioned apartment with three bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the third bedroom is furnished with two single beds. These rooms share a bathroom fitted with a single vanity, shower and toilet. There is a separate guest toilet.

The living area homes the lounge, dining area and kitchen which is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge. A smart, flatscreen TV is connected to dedicated Fibre Wi-Fi for streaming purposes, and offers DStv Premium for viewing pleasure. The living space opens onto a partially covered balcony which offers a full view of the breakers, and opportunities for soaking in the sun while enjoying a braai/barbecue in the outdoor entertainment area.

Pets

Fur babies are most welcome to come with their human parents. Animals are strictly not allowed to sleep on the beds and be on furniture due to hygiene standards and also for consideration of other guests who may be allergic to animals.

Dedicated, undercover parking is available on-site. The parking bay can fit 2x standard size vehicles parked in front of one another, or a car and trailer. Cleaning services can be arranged in advance for the duration of your stay, and over weekends and South African Public Holidays. While the apartment is fully equipped with laundry facilities, guests can arrange laundry services directly with a nearby Laundromat.

Attractions

Situated in Umdloti, a hugely popular holiday destination, in the heart of KwaZulu Natal's Dolphin Coast, this seaside unit is a hop skip and jump away from swimming beach, and a few minutes' walk from the local tidal pool and some rather impressive shops, bars and restaurants.

A key point to note is that the Umdloti tidal pool is naturally protected by rocks so it's not affected by strong currents and large waves. This makes it ideal for little kids, elderly people and novice swimmers to enjoy the ocean, and some fun in the sun.

Umdloti is a wonderful place that is not too crowded and the locals are super friendly and helpful. The beaches are clean and wonderful for long walks, and the views are magnificent. Be sure to explore the rock pools at low tide!
