The Farmhouse at Fynbos Estate offers accommodation in Malmesbury, ideal for large groups. Located 15 kms outside Malmesbury and just an hour from Cape Town, Fynbos Estate nestles amongst vineyards, olive trees and indigenous gardens. The estate offers wonderful food and wine, comfortable accommodation and a relaxed and easy atmosphere.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Farmhouse is a hundred-year-old Victorian home near Malmesbury with a wraparound veranda and original Oregon features. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens, vineyards and a mountain nature reserve.

The holiday home in Malmesbury sleeps up to sixteen guests in six double bedrooms, some equipped with private bathrooms and some not fitted with private bathrooms.

There is a good domestic library, a satellite TV and Wi-Fi. There is also a fully appointed farm kitchen, a large lounge with a Raku fireplace and a dining room. Braai facilities are available.

Catering options include fully catered, part catered or self catered and wonderful food is prepared using fresh produce from the farm, from simple country style to gourmet.

The Estate

Fynbos Estate offers a range of facilities for those staying on the farm. These include a raku fireplace in winter and a swimming pool under the mountain in summer, wine tasting and wine making, a large domestic library, satellite TV. The restaurant food is farm sourced and prepared with creativity and experience in a variety of styles.

Exploration of the farm and mountain by foot give visitors a chance to enjoy virtually pristine fynbos vegetation and indigenous birds and animals. Cycling up the mountain road is a hit with the fit and a high clearance vehicle will take visitors up the mountain by road where they will be greeted by spectacular views.
