The Farmhouse is a thatched double-storey home with five bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed, a single sleeper couch, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, single sleeper couch, and en-suite bathroom with a bath. The fifth bedroom has two single beds. The farmhouse kitchen is equipped for self-catering and has a huge fireplace, marble-topped cupboards, a dishwasher, and a double-sized oven. The terraced entertainment area with a 14 seater table, large braai and wood-fired hot tub with a stunning view over the 14m communal swimming pool, dam and mountains. Please bring extra towels for swimming and use at the hot tub.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
